LEADERSHIP: Don Doctor   John Sorensen   Chris Noe

Don Doctor 

Don manages Broadway Systems’ board process and is instrumental to the strategic thinking and direction of the company.

Don is the former Chairman and CEO of Encoda Systems, a leading global supplier of software and service solutions for the broadcast media industry, including television, radio, cable, satellite, and advertising agency customers around the world. Don was brought in by Encoda’s investors and grew the company to $124M in revenues leading to the sale to Harris Corporation for $412M.

Don was the co-founder and CEO of Premier Systems Integrators, a leading provider of infrastructure management services to enterprise organizations. Currently he is the executive chairman of SMS, Inc. and serves as a director for other private equity sponsored organizations in the media and technology sectors.

Don holds a bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University with majors in accounting and technology.

John Sorensen 

John is responsible for the overall management of Broadway Systems with emphasis on the development and delivery of Broadway’s advertising management software and services.

John was formerly President of Encoda Systems where he had responsibility for 14 offices and 28 software solutions worldwide. He had been with Encoda since 1987 and building on his track record of bringing new solutions to the marketplace served as Software Architect, VP Development, VP IT, General Manager, and finally President. His software designs and service methodologies led Encoda to the number one position in the industry with an 80% market share.

John, who has worked in the IT industry for more than 25 years, previously held posts with Unisys and Hewlett-Packard. John attended DeVry Institute and received his diploma in Electronic Technology.

Chris Noe 

Chris is a member of the board and drives strategy and business development for the company.

Chris is the former President of Lenfest Media Group (LMG) a privately-held media technology operating company. At LMG he had profit and loss responsibility for CAM Systems and Starnet both of which provided advertising related software and services to the cable industry. Chris drove the turnaround and growth of these businesses leading to their successful sale in 2005 to OpenTV.

Prior to LMG, Chris was Managing Director with Katalyst, a 50+ person private equity services firm and $30 million venture fund focused on the cable, broadband and IT industries. At Katalyst, Chris assumed interim executive positions and assisted several early stage companies through the development and implementation of their business plans. Prior to Katalyst Chris held sales, business development and consulting positions with IBM, Computer Sciences Corporation and KPMG Peat Marwick.

Chris holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Connecticut and earned his certification as a public accountant in the state of Connecticut .
