Broadway Systems Enters Agreement with Google TV Ads to Manage Automated Ad Buys
Collaboration allows streamlined access to digital television sales platform
Grand Rapids, Mich. – Broadway Systems, provider of an innovative software platform designed to help cable networks manage multiple aspects of their advertising businesses, today announced a collaboration with Google TV Ads (TM).
Google TV Ads is an auction-based platform for purchasing television advertising. The agreement enables cable networks using Broadway Systems to easily sell their inventory through Google TV Ads.
Through the new integration, Broadway provides a list of available commercial inventory to Google TV Ads, which can be accessed by potential advertisers. Spots
sold through Google TV Ads are delivered directly to Broadway Systems' software for scheduling and airing. After the spots run, verifications and reports are sent back to Google TV Ads. Broadway customers who make their inventory available through the Google TV Ads platform maintain control over inventory and rates using Broadway’s traffic, billing, sales planning and proposal modules.
“Efficiency has always been a cornerstone of Broadway Systems, and our integration with Google helps streamline the process of bringing new advertisers to our customers,” said John Sorensen, president of Broadway Systems. “Google TV Ads is an exciting outlet for new advertising revenue, particularly for cable networks. Now, Broadway customers have a direct line to these online opportunities.”
“We are pleased to be working with Broadway Systems to provide networks with a new option to sell their ad inventory to new customers,” said Robert Meese, business development manager for Google TV Ads. “We hope to make TV advertising more relevant, accountable and measurable, delivering benefits to viewers, advertisers and programmers."
